Sau Jong, a young professional with a broad-based business experience, spent the early part of his professional career with one of the top-notch global accounting firm, Ernst & Young. He is currently an approved company auditor in Malaysia and US PCAOB. He graduated from Multimedia University and he is member of MIA and CPA Australia. He has garnered more than 10 years of audit experience in various industries, both private companies, and public listed companies (including subsidiaries of MNCs).
Throughout his career, he has been involved in various assurance and non-assurance assignments in several industries such as property development, constructions, independent power producer, timber, manufacturing, trading, retails, investment holding with diversified businesses, oil and gas, construction, property investment, contract services provider, infrastructure concessionaire, manufacturing and trading entities, hotels and recreational clubs, plantations, legal firms, associations and foundations, transportation and logistic, fast-food restaurant chains , retail and education, online games on social network platform and mobile applications.
He was involved in various restructuring and listing exercise of groups involving in oil and gas, property development, construction, mobile applications, retails and manufacturing.
In addition to his experience in auditing, he has also been involved in due diligence review, business acquisitions, review of cash flow and profit forecast and projections, share valuation exercise, private debt securities exercise of local companies and MNC in various industries.
Jacky Chan is a Chartered Accountant. He is a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountant (M.I.A), a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of UK (ACCA) and an associate member of Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) and Approved Training Provider by Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB).
He was the Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer (CSMO), Merger & Acquisition Director, Tax Advisory Director & Audit Manager of YYC Group.
Jacky Chan has more than 13 years of Accounting, Audit, Taxation and Business Advisory experience in several industries such as Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW), Manufacturing, Construction, Trading, Logistic and Government Institutions. He handled many tax audit & investigation cases in dealing with Inland Revenue Board and Royal Malaysian Customs Department. Besides, he also conducted more than 500 Sessions of Talks/Seminars, the topics consist of GST/SST, Income Tax, Business model, Strategic Planning, Share Structuring Planning and Cash Flow Management.
